Learning How to Live: Recovery Became Life at the Intersection of Theory and Practice (Volume 2)

Ann had an AVM Rupture and massive stroke in 2011. When Insurance-funded Rehab ended she decided to build the long term infrastructure for her Recovery. She started with Trainer David. They both took a chance and it paid off.

Ann Tan ("Bossy Smurf") is an AVM Rupture and Stroke Survivor. Her brain bled in April 2011 and she learned to walk at the end of that year. Her deficits remain full-body, however, and gait training will be her way of life. David Murgueytio ("Animal Muppet") is her Personal Trainer. He is teaching her how to navigate life after brain injury. Jessica Murgeytio, RD ("Smurfette") is David's lovely wife and Ann's dietician. She keeps us all in line.
