Synopsis:

Learning to Pray from the Psalmist takes the reader Psalm by Psalm through a devotional study that, if carried out, will bring him or her much closer to the Lord. He or she will have to open the heart, confess sins, recognize unworthiness, come into God's presence acknowledging Him as holy, worthy, gracious, hating sin, yet providing for those who confess Him, repent to Him and turn from their sinful ways by trusting in what He provided for their forgiveness and salvation. The book will put the serious believer onto his or her knees, unable to rise with total subjection to God. The example of the Psalmist, in each Psalm and the confessions of the author as he, too, sought God's forgiveness and grace, will either push or pull the praying reader into a position of forgiveness and new life. The book is not easy, for it requires you, the reader, to get into a right relationship with your Holy God. But the blessings are beyond description.
