About the Author: Joyce Brown is an often-published curriculum writer and song-writer. She is certified as an Associate in Christian Education and as a Teacher of Teachers. In her job as a Cokesbury Curriculum Representative, Ms. Brown helped churches choose and use curriculum resources for children, youth, and adults. Her volunteer “joys” include teaching the Grades 3-5 Sunday School Class and directing the Elementary Choir at Western Hills United Methodist Church In Fort Worth TX. She also volunteers as a tutor at the multicultural elementary school across the street from her church.
