Learning to lead for the Kingdom: A call for a deeper understanding of the message of Jesus

We all pray “Thy kingdom come”, but do we understand what we are saying and what we are praying for? Are we clear about the relationship between the Kingdom of God and the Christian Church? What is the relationship between the history of salvation and the manifestation of the Kingdom of God on earth? Who is the real Bride and Wife of the Lamb referred to in Revelation 19 and 21? Is the ultimate destiny of humankind heaven or the earth? And what are the obligations of, and challenges to, 21st century Christians in proclaiming the Kingdom?Uninfluenced by any denominational theology, Professor Emmanuel Ngara believes the way to understand and unpack Jesus’ message on the Kingdom of God is to let the Holy Spirit enlighten us and reveal the truth of the Voice of God to us as we go through the pages of the Bible. Guided and inspired by the Holy Spirit, he has clarified the meaning and importance of the concept of the Kingdom of God in Jesus’ message, and has shown the various phases of the Kingdom as revealed in the relevant Scripture passages from Genesis through the Gospels to the Book of Revelation. Learning to Lead for the Kingdom presents a fresh, enlightening and challenging exposition of “the Kingdom of God.”
