Hardcover, royal octavo bound in grayish blue cloth and lettered in gold on spine against green backgrounds. 580 pages. Contents [title index] at rear. First edition thus, no additional printings listed. The second volume of the Aventine Classics series. No underlining, highlighting or marginalia to text. Mild toning to page margins as per usual, else a tight ,clean and unmarked copy, with private gift inscription on front free end-paper. Dust-jacket worn and chipped but essentially complete. Very good in a poor dust-jacket.
