Includes a small assortment of black-and-white sketches throughout text block. General age-related toning to pages, along with periodic foxing and wear. Sir William Bowman, 1st Baronet (1816-1892) was a British surgeon, histologist and anatomist best known for his usage of microscopes to study various human organs.
