This book reveals the secret of his strength and influence as a preacher and pastor. As such it is a book for the preacher in the active ministry and the student who has a fruitful ministry as his ideal and goal. These Lectures were delivered before the Divinity School of Yale University. Phillips Brooks was one of the most influential and prominent clergymen in the United States during the nineteenth century and surely one of its greatest preachers. All items subject to prior sale. Shipping is $4.25 for the first
volume via book rate ($9.00 via Priority Mail) and $1.00 for each volume
thereafter. Rates for international orders are a minimum of $28.00 per
book (via Global Priority Air, if feasible). Sets, oversize and/or heavier
volumes will generally cost more to ship, both domestically and
internationally; we will quote a price to you when this is the case. Florida
residents need to add 7% sales tax. Payment may be by Check/Money
Order (in US dollars), Credit Card (American Express, Mastercard, and
Visa) or PayPal. All items are returnable within 30 days.
