Leather chipped head and base of volume one with a large vertical split in the center. Outer front joint cracked volume one. Volume two leather is chipped head and base of the spine. Outer front joint and inner hinge cracked and starting to detach. Light to moderate scattered foxing to both volumes. Inscription by "W. W. Steakley 11/25 1882 $6" written in pencil on the right front flyleaf volume one. "W W Steakley MD Lancaster Texas Nov 25 1882 $6" written on the right front flyleaf volume 2.
