Synopsis
One would rarely consider the word "INCIDENTALLY" a word with the power to launch events that would change the direction of one's life. In my case, that was the word that did just that, and I would like to tell you about it. It all began with a letter I received the year after the opening of Augustinian Academy, a new high school in St. Louis, Missouri. When this letter came, I was principal at Mendel Catholic High School in Chicago, Illinois. I had been brought back to Chicago where I began my teaching ministry in 1953 as a young priest. This was the begining of my faith adventure in Peru.
