Synopsis

Il fattore Mew dalla vita desidera una cosa soltanto: possedere tutto Madder, il villaggio in cui abita, abitanti compresi. Lì dove vive anche il vecchio calderaio Jar, misteriosa figura scesa un giorno dalle colline che all'improvviso scompare. Tutti in paese lo amano e già immaginano che al suo ritorno succederà qualcosa di straordinario. Il perfido Mew, in assenza di Jar, compie ogni sorta di violenza. La sua voglia di possesso lo porta ad appropriarsi anche di una grossa pietra che tutti in paesi chiamano la "pietra di Jar". E' allora che il vecchio riemerge dalle nebbie delle colline per riportare in paese il bene accompagnato dalla spettacolare punizione del colpevole.
