Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder (1921)

""Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder"" is a political treatise written by Vladimir Lenin, the leader of the Bolshevik Party in Russia. The book was originally published in 1921 and is considered a classic Marxist text. In the book, Lenin argues against the left-wing tendencies within the Communist movement, which he characterizes as immature and lacking in a practical understanding of revolutionary strategy. He criticizes those who advocate for spontaneous uprisings and insurrections, arguing that these tactics are often ineffective and can lead to defeat. Instead, Lenin advocates for a more disciplined and organized approach to revolutionary struggle, emphasizing the need for a strong party structure and a clear understanding of the political and economic conditions of the time. The book is a powerful critique of the revolutionary left and remains a valuable resource for those interested in Marxist theory and political strategy. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
