Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder (1921)

""Left Wing Communism: An Infantile Disorder"" is a political essay written by Vladimir Lenin in 1920. The book discusses the issue of left-wing communism and its impact on the Communist movement. Lenin argues that left-wing communism is a form of political immaturity, characterized by a lack of understanding of the realities of political struggle and a tendency towards dogmatism and sectarianism. He also criticizes the idea of abstentionism, which advocates for abstaining from participation in bourgeois elections and parliaments. Lenin argues that this approach is ineffective and counterproductive. The book offers a critique of the left-wing factions within the Communist movement and provides a guide for revolutionaries on how to advance the cause of socialism. It remains a classic text in Marxist theory and a valuable resource for those interested in the history of communism and socialist politics. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
