Martha Shore Edwards is a freelance journalist with a degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina and an MBA from Vanderbilt University. She is the mother of three daughters, all of whom were cared for in centers directed by Ms. Dunkle. Their friendship and mutual interest in good nutrition for young children led to this cookbook.
Jac Lynn Dunkle has been director of the employee-sponsored center at Vanderbilt University since 1987. Her interest in nutrition springs from her commitment to improve all aspects of care for the young children in her programs. Ms. Dunkle in an accomplished trainer, currently doing workshops on nutrition for the Tennessee Dept. of Human Services and at NAEYC fall conferences.
