The First Edition Library's perfect facsimile of the 1947 Fantasy Press edition. A pristine book in bright turquoise boards, resists opening. As bright and shiny as you'd expect a new book to be. The dust jacket is also in like new condition, protected in a Brodart cover. The slipcase is bright and clean in front but has wear on edges and some wear and light soiling visible on rear panel. Photos are the best description. The quality of these facsimiles is nothing short of extraordinary. First Edition Library Facsimiles had the same weight, size, typeface, art, dust jacket, finish and texture as the originals. The publisher's slip laid in with a description of the book and its first edition points is important to collectors, and this book has it.
