The first illustrated autobiographical book from Lennox Lewis – and the first of any kind since he became champion and BBC Sports Personality of the Year in 1999. Brilliantly evocative black–and–white photographs by Blaise Hart. Introduction and text by Melissa Ford – screenwriter of ET (and wife of Harrison Ford). The Lewis vs Tyson fight in April 2002 promises to be a huge media sporting event.

Lennox Lewis was born in East London of Jamaican parents but from the age of eight was raised in Canada. Indeed, it was for Canada as an amateur boxer that he won the gold medal at the Seoul Olympics in 1988. Now domiciled in England again, he is the first world heavyweight boxing champion Britain has produced in over a hundred years. This lavishly illustrated book, with images by the Jamaican photographer Blaise Hart, is the first to commemorate Lennox in his own words since he became a champion, and has his full support in terms of the book’s promotion. Only the notorious “Iron Mike” Tyson appears to be left as a credible challenger and this much–anticipated fight could crown an extraordinary sporting career. LENNOX tracks Britain’s biggest sporting superstar from the night in Las Vegas he was crowned champion in 1999 by beating the legendary Evander Holyfield. Two colossal championship years saw Lennox reach the depths of sporting.
