In good condition. Light wear to extremities with minor scuffing to corners and edges. Front joint tender with cracking and red rot at the seam. Plain Philly binding with red morocco spine label. Corners bumped. Interior lightly toned with heavier toning to edges on some leaves. Internally bright considering age. Binding remains intact. Free of known markings. Please see photos. Early American edition - sixth edition. A classic work printed often during the late 18th century and well into the 19th century. Includes four charming woodcuts of young men gesturing to one another. Primers like this were quite common amongst the new middling classes.
