Good food like good music is a universal language. (from the author). Good vintage cookbook with minimal shelfwear to cloth covered boards and clean pages throughout. Line drawings and caricatures by Ivy Bottini. Front hinge is slightly cracked, but still strong. DJ more worn with some moderate chips and a faded spine. Book club edition noted on flap. Now protected in mylar. Nice mix of standards and fairly exotic recipes. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 318 pages.
