Lessons Our Pets Taught Us

Through a silly dog watching out and protecting us, the unexpected friendship of a horse and a chicken, the playfulness of a crow, and adventure with ponies who loved to escape, we learned how to love and accept our pets and each other, growing up. Through the years, each of these animals became more than just pets, companions, and family-they were teachers.

They taught us the importance of courage, kindness, patience, and the power of friendship and love.

Animals can be some of our most insightful teachers, offering lessons that stay with us forever and shape us, especially when we are children. Through their behaviors and interactions, our animals impart values and skills essential for being better humans.
