Publisher's green cloth, paper label on spine reading "Ancient Buildings, Monuments, &c. of London. 60 plates". A full list of the plates printed for this series is given in Adams (London Illustrated) at page 295. This volume contains 60 plates as follows (in order): 65, 57, 1-14, 66, 15-21, 58, 22-24, 26, 28, 27, 29-56: i.e., omitting plates 59-64. The latest publication date on any of the plates is 1818. A good solid copy with only a little minor offsetting or foxing. Scarce. *Walter Besant's copy with his bookplate on pastedown.
