Typed letter signed by Hass to Lavinia C. Meeks, March 13, 1992, on "Adventures in Good Music" letterhead. An accomplished pianist and conductor, musicologist Hass also hosted the classical program Adventures in Good Music, syndicated to public and commercial radio stations worldwide. In this letter, Haas thanked Meeks for her support over the years. Meeks, a New York singer, who moved to Hollywood in the 1960s, was a family friend of the artist Al Hirschfeld. Meeks and Hirschfeld's daughter Nina both belonged to the Blue Hill Troupe, a Gilbert and Sullivan group, who performed for a variety of charities. A wonderful unpublished letter.
