Letter to a Young Medium

"Letter to a Young Medium" is a book that is dedicated to the soul lessons we all learn when we accept the calling of being a soul communicator for those who have died. Most books on mediumship focus on the practice of the work and how to create and maintain a link. Letter to a Young Medium explores, through multiple stories personal to the author, the soul lessons that visit us on this journey. These twelve lessons are powerful, and the author makes them deeply personal through an offering of his most vulnerable moments in life. From the introduction when a fierce drag queen offers Brian a lesson in finding his way through the dark to a touching moment when Brian as a middle school teacher is learning the true story about a student deserving of his compassion when he was only offering judgment, these stories begin to inspire a reflection on our own story. The author believes that mediums are participating in miracles, and one day, we will all recognize we are one. "Letter to a Young Medium" offers an uncommon vulnerability, which is often the very foundation asked of any medium. As the author weaves stories that inspire hope and purpose for all experiences of loss, he reminds us of our sacred duty to love. The author states, “Mediumship is love having the final say.”
