First reprint. Edited, with introduction and notes by Alfred Ainger. Newly arranged, with additions. In two Volumes. Vol I - xxviii, 343 pp. Frontispiece - tissue-guarded engraving of Charles lamb. Vol II - xiv, 377 pp + 6 pp ads. Previous owner's inscription and book stamp on ffep of both volumes. Vol II only - front hinge cracked. Contents of both volumes very clean and tight. Bound in matching maroon cloth boards with gilt lettering on spines. Tops of both spines rubbed away. Bottom of spines and corners rubbed. Split of about two inches in centre of spine of vol II at bottom. Overall condition VG. A nice set.
