About this Item
87 Pages. With a memorial poem by Martha Dickinson Bianchi (niece of Emily Dickinson). This is a very insightful book of the letters written by the author while she was in France during WWI, describing the war and the people of France from a non-combatant's point of view. The book's exterior has 3 worn corners, ink staining on the front cover, and one light ink stain on the rear cover. The spine has three small brown spots on it and has a title paper glued on with, E.S.T. on it. The interior book, other than some browning of the inside front and rear pages, has no further visible distractions, detriments or extraneous markings throughout the book and thus has all of its printing in a very well-preserved and enjoyable condition and the bindings remain tight and therefore, sound. If you purchase this book from us, it will be carefully wrapped up, padded, boxed, and sent right away to you and will come with our absolute appreciation for your interest and for your order.
