They cover his training in Africa and his service with RAF 58 Squadron, Coastal Command, based at St Eval, Cornwall. He made many sorties over the Bay of Biscay before he failed to return from an anti-submarine operation over the North Sea. Includes extracts from the "Daily Operations Book" of 58 Squadron and an Epilogue by the editor.
