Fair overall; spines cocked; hinges starting; Vol II has a hard bump to front exterior hinge; some rubbing/bumping and a little fraying to extremities; soil/stain/scuffs to cloth; else Very Good. Pages generally clean and bright, though a little tanned in the margins. No dust jackets. Bound in red cloth with elaborate illustrations in gilt and black to spines and front covers. Not the first issue (lacking the error on p 104: "Frederick" for "Zedekiah"), but an early issue (illus are all in black and white). May require an increase to shipping price if requesting priority shipping.
