A hardbound edition of what seems to be the first two of three special editions of the New Edinburgh Review, bound together. The page bundles have come loose from the original NER paper cover, but the content is whole and clean, although the paper is tanned with age, especially around the edges. A very rare copy of this collection which aimed to publish the 218 Letters Gramsci wrote from prison, which had been stored in the Einaudi collectionm of 1947, translated into English for the first time by Hamish Henderson, and set in context by Prof. Gwyn A Williams in an analytic history.

We accept ABE online credit card transactions. We accept sterling cheques
drawn on
a UK bank. We will wait for cheques to clear before despatching goods. If
