Publisher's black cloth with stamped red letters on front and spine. Binding tight; corners bumped and scuffed. Vintage 1902 inked signature on ffep. Covers shelf worn with spots and loss of color. Book has obviously been exposed to moisture sometime in its 123 years leaving pale water marks and ripply pages but thanks to the publisher's use of quality materials, it has survived in relatively good condition as if it had gone through its own hell. An uncommon edition. 7.5 x 5.25" w.
