Raised near Phenix City, Ala., Lewis Colbert overcame a severe club foot birth defect as well as a challenging upbringing at home to become an All-American punter at Auburn University in 1985 and an NFL punter. Auburn fans voted him to the school's Team of the Century. Former Auburn head football coach Pat Dye, who wrote the foreword to the book, comments that Lewis Colbert's story will inspire anyone who reads it.
