Original full old sheep, back in five compartments, gilt red calf lettering piece, four bands between gilt fillets. Very good with strong joints, rubbed on surface, edges, and extremities. Corners bumped and worn. Sheets age toned with some more browned than others. Mostly c-shape margin tear to lower fore edge of one sheet at p. 271 affecting the 2 ending letters of each of 9 lines of text only (on both sides).
