Soft cover books with red titles and with author and publisher in black. Volume One has edge wear and short tear at top and bottom of the spine. The glassene jacket is intact with chips and tears. Volume Two has cracks along the spine but is intact with faded title and edge wear. The glassene jacket is in separate parts with chippings and tears. Volume One has 7 color plates with tissue guards in place. Volume Two 7 color plates with tissue guards in place. Chapters are title with "Letter the First. etc" in English with sub title in French with the text in English. Volume One is Number 572 of 1000 numbered copies and has 278 pages plus the Limitation page and a page of ads. Volume Two is Number 517 of 1000 copies with 263 page plus the Limitation page. Size: 4to - over 9� - 12" tall.
