Liam Gillick studied at the Hertfordshire College of Art in 1983- 1984 and at Goldsmiths, University of London from 1984 until 1987. About the Author

Director (Hamburger Bahnhof – Nationalgalerie der Gegenwart), Berlin and Curator, living in Berlin. Barbara Helwing studied prehistory and early history, Near Eastern archaeology and ethnology at the University of Heidelberg. Following teaching and monument office excavations in Rhineland-Palatinate, Baden-Wü rttemberg and Austria as well as excavations and processing campaigns of the German Archaeological Institute (DAI) in Tiryns, she has participated in excavations of the Heidelberg Institute in Lidar Hö yü k and Nevali Ç ori every year since 1987. In 1991, she completed her studies with a master's thesis on the pottery from the Early Bronze Age cemeteries of Titris, SE Turkey.
