S.W. Strackbein is a Wisconsin-based author and the founder of Sisyphus Triumphant Publishing. A military veteran with a background in psychology and mental health counseling, he writes crime, speculative, and genre-crossing fiction centered on moral injury, fractured identity, and the choices people make when familiar systems fail. He is a member of the Wisconsin Writers Association and has attended its Novel-In-Progress Bookcamp and Writing Retreat. He lives in Wisconsin with his wife, Tanya, and their two dogs. When not writing, he enjoys cooking and traveling.
