The Library of Guitar Classics 2

The Library of Guitar Classics 2 is an extensive classical guitar sheet music collection of works by various composers, edited by Jerry Willard. Bringing together celebrated works and lesser-known gems from the Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, and Romantic traditions, this easy-medium collection is a valuable resource for classical guitarists, teachers, performers, and anyone building a lasting guitar music library.

The collection presents solo guitar repertoire in standard notation with fingerings and does not include tablature. The carefully curated contents feature music by renowned composers including Bach, Dowland, Tarrega, Sor, Giuliani, Carcassi, Aguado, Granados, Albeniz, Weiss, Paganini, Coste, Milan, Sanz, Murcia, Schumann, Scarlatti, Carulli, Besard, Godard, Blavet, Moszkowski, and others.

The variety of musical styles and historical periods encourages exploration while offering engaging repertoire for regular study, recital preparation, private instruction, performance, and personal enjoyment. From expressive dances and lyrical miniatures to studies, sonatas, preludes, suites, and galliards, the anthology provides lasting musical value and broad stylistic exposure within a single collection. It also serves as an excellent addition to a studio, school, or personal music library and makes a thoughtful gift for classical guitar enthusiasts.
