Antique condition consistent with age (circa 1900). Cloth boards are intact with visible age-related wear, including surface discoloration and mild rippling/bubbling to the rear cover. Inside of the rear cover has mild bubbling as well (last picture). Spine shows shelf wear and edge rubbing; title label remains present with wear. Front inner hinge is split/starting at the joint (inside front cover); binding remains intact. Interior pages are complete with original deckle (untrimmed) edges; several pages remain unopened. Paper exhibits uniform age toning. Some pages show small edge tears and short separations near the inner margins (gutter), typical of early 20th-century bindings. No pages are loose or detached, and the text block remains securely bound. Limited edition ?Testimonial Edition,? copy number 507 handwritten in red on the limitation page (not signed).Overall a solid, unrestored antique copy with honest wear and desirable original characteristics.
