Book description: Blue publishers cloth hardbounds, gilt title/design stamped/embossed on spine cover/front boards, illustrated with plates and illustrated text pages; later pasted title label affixed/adhered to all volumes on spine label. Dimensions: 8" x 5 3/4" x 1 1/4 - 1 3/4" each volume. Book condition: Good; Vol. II [(1) loose plate], moderate-strongly sunned spine covers (gilt oxidized on spine cover, fresh and bright on covers), gentle-moderately bumped spine crown/heels [(5) areas at spine crowns of volumes effected by the start of minor fraying], corner tips minor rubbing [a couple effected by the effect of minor fraying], exposed inner board at (2)board edges [(1) 1/8" x 1/16", (2)1/16" x 1/16"], very lightly soiled cloth, personal ex-libris label pasted to inner front board of each volume, strong square spines/bindings, clean age toned pages throughout.
