Library Service to Children: A Guide to the History, Planning, Policy, and Research Literature

This bibliography updates the coverage of print materials listed in Library Service to Children: A Guide to the Research, Planning and Policy Literature (American Library Association, 1992). The electronic sources are new, and the coverage of biographical literature and materials about the history of children's services and children's librarianship has been expanded.

Phyllis Van Orden is a retired professor from the University of Washington. She has also authored Selecting Books for the Elementary School Library Media Center (Neal-Schuman, 2000) and The Collection Program in Schools: Concepts, Practices, and Information Sources 3rd Ed. (Libraries Unlimited, 2001).
