Color from page edges are beginning to rub away. Covers are lightly smudged. A signature or two in volumes one and four are a bit loose, but bindings are strong overall. Black-and-white illustrated frontispiece of three portraits in every volume. Title pages are dated 1898. Volumes 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 are 400, 400, 400, 400, and 411 pages, respectively.
