A very scarce complete set of the Library of World's Classics in VERY GOOD condition. Some minor scuffs and edge wear on several volumes. Not a mark inside. These volumes, which are 6 x 9 inches, are illustrated with photogravures on Japanese vellum with hand painted reproductions and full page portraits of authors. Top edges gilt. Very minor sunning on spines. Text throughout is bright and clean and easily readable on heavy stock. Covers are half leather (including corners) with white marbled cloth. End papers marbeled.
