Synopsis

Despite many setbacks Ralph Hartman now runs a successful transatlantic business. He is happily married and life for Ralph is good. At a party he rebuffs the predatory advances of the hostess, Anna. Shortly afterwards she falsely accuses him of trying to seduce her. Ralph is innocent but has a big problem: Marie, his wife, is Anna's life long friend and despite Ralph's denial, she refuses to believe him. Anna totally convinces her. Stephen Smith is married and hails from the East of England where he still lives. He has spent his working life in the Telecommunications industry. This is his first novel.
