Lies in the Deep: The Lakeville Project: Book Two

Lies in the Deep is the second book in The Lakeville Project series. Though Chelsea Raleigh and Emma Finewood live very different lives, they share the same dark secret…

For Emma Finewood, her involvement in a car accident is more than tragic; it’s life-altering. Moreover, it grants passage to James Gallagher, who comes with unbelievable information and a warning: Emma is one of five infected subjects in a diabolical experiment called the Lakeville Project— and she needs to hide.

As Emma learns to manage her newly emerging abilities with a group of unsuspecting friends, a war to control the Lakeville Project breaks out between the Ardemoni and Gallagher families. Jake Jones, the creator of the Lakeville Project, works stealthily in the shadows, quietly weaving a web of lies and destruction. And he will stop at nothing to complete his project.

With one subject missing, Jones tasks Emma with using her powers to find the last of the infected five. Should she fail, she’ll be deemed useless. And in the Lakeville Project— the useless are terminated.

But the question remains. Will completing the ring of fire give them control of their lives, or will it destroy them?
