About the Author

Robert Hanson completed a successful full-time mission in Harrisburg, PA (1984-86) and has since served in the church in a number of capacities, including Bishop, Ward Mission Leader, Stake Mission Presidency, High Priest Group Leader. Brother Hanson completed the Seminary & Institute Instructor Training (Pre-service Course) at the Orem Institute of Religion and has over 30 years teaching experience, including Seminary (early morning), Gospel Doctrine, Gospel Essentials, High Priest Group, Temple Preparation & Teacher Development. Brother Hanson lives in Sandy, Utah, with his sweetheart, Terri (married since 1988), and their children (two sets of twins). The most recent inspiration for this booklet is Brother Hanson’s daughter, Taylor, who was serving a mission in Houston, Texas, when he wrote this booklet.
