About this Item

Bound in fine morocco gift binding with elaborate gilt borders, 4 raised bands, marbeled endpapers and edges. This was a merit gift to student Francis William Miller of Joseph Williamson's Free School on June 29, 1858 and is signed by two Rochester MPs. Book shows minor rubbing at extremities. All maps are complete and in nice condition but do have closed tears where attached to the binding. Otherwise fine, largely unread.
