Excellent Book
About the Author: "Life and Death" is James D. Snyder's third book. He and his wife Sue live on the Loxahatchee River near the border of Jonathan Dickinson State Park, a mile or so from Trapper Nelson's camp as the crow flies. As avid kayakers, the park and its historical centerpiece have been a big part of their lives since moving to Jupiter in 1992.
The author, who majored in journalism at Northwestern University and received a graduate degree in political science from The George Washington University, spent most of his writing career as editor and publisher of newsmagazines on business and medicine. He has also written widely for such diverse publications as Parade, Smithsonian and Harvard Business Review.
