This book is about domestic violence. Abuse in any form is wrong, but when so many people are speaking their opinions who do you listen to?

My motto was; ‘there’s no one out there to help me, so I found the strength to help myself’.

I wrote this book from the heart as I, myself, have suffered abuse from childhood to adulthood. A cycle of abuse for 38 years.

One day I found the strength to say I’m not tolerating this life anymore and I walked to a new life.

I wanted my children to live fear free and to see them smile and laugh.
Yes it’s been 8 years of hard work trying to get a perfect life.
Life is for living and you have to build your life, at times reconstruct your life.
Life is trial and error, and life lessons you learn from.
Don’t live with regrets and, believe me, life goes by so fast year after year.
Don’t miss chances of happiness due to the abuser holding you back in life.
To run to other men for protection as that cycle pattern in life will destroy the person who you should be.
My life is perfect now but it’s safe and peaceful and you can’t put a price on your safety or living in peace; its priceless.
This book will guide you and hopefully give you the strength to find a way to leave domestic violence and face any challenges in front of you to gain back who you are and you deserve to be a stronger happier person.

Dream what you want to dream, go where you want to go, be who you want to be, as you only have one life and you only have one chance to do all the things you want to do and dream of. Be you who you are and want to be. No one has that right to change you or tell you who to be or what to do.
