Your Life Is Happening Now (Paperback)

Paperback. Somewhere in your house there is a candle you are saving for an occasion that never comes. You are not living your life. You are waiting for it: for the promotion, for the quieter month, for the readier, braver version of you. Meanwhile the only life you are guaranteed is running right now, unattended, in the kitchen, in traffic, at this exact table. With warm science, unforgettable stories, and dry humor, Theo Marsh takes apart the machinery of postponement piece by piece: the finish lines that move the moment you touch them, the future that never gets calmer, and the five quiet thieves that steal your days in broad daylight. Then he hands you The Present Tense, a practice small enough to survive a real schedule. Three moves, no incense: Arrive. Receive. Respond.By the last page you will know why the years keep speeding up and how to slow them down, how to fall back in love with an ordinary Tuesday, how to be all the way with the people in front of you, and how to stay inside the hard hours without abandoning your own life. You have already waited long enough. The occasion is that you are here.Someday was never a day. Today is. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from multiple locations in the US or from the UK, depending on stock availability.…
