By her Son Charles Edward Stowe. 2 vols. Extra-illustrated by the insertion of ninety-eight plates and six autograph letters inlaid to size. Each volume includes an extra printed title page denoting this extra-illustrated set. 8vo, full blue-green levant morocco, gilt; gilt brown morocco doublures; moire silk endleaves; gilt tops; by Harcourt Bindery, Boston. Preserved in a quarter morocco folding box with two felt-lined chemises. Armorial bookplate in each volume. Some tiny areas of rubbing to the extremities of the leather and minuscule chips to the spine of Vol. I; a beautiful set. The letters are by Harriet Beecher Stowe, the Rev. Henry Ward Beecher, his wife, and the Rev. C. E. Stowe.
