About the Author
Denver Bryan is an internationally published photographer who specializes in wildlife, fly-fishing, outdoor recreation, and Labrador retrievers. An ardent waterfowler and Lab owner for twenty years, Bryan's work has appeared in over 100 magazine covers and graced the pages of such publications as National Geographic, Audubon, Time, National Wildlife, Smithsonian, Field & Stream, Ducks Unlimited, and many others. He lives in Bozeman, Montana, with his two retrievers, Trouble and Taylor.
E. Donnall Thomas Jr. writes regularly about the outdoor life for a number of respected publications, including Gray's Sporting Journal, Alaska, Ducks Unlimited, Big Sky Journal, Sports Afield, Outdoor Life, Shooting Sportsman, and many others. The author of eight books, he recently completed The Double Helix, a detailed account of bowhunting in Africa. His work has received numerous citations, including the prestigious Traver Award for fly-fishing fiction, and has appeared in several anthologies. Thomas lives in central Montana with his wife, Lori, four children, and assorted dogs.
