About the Author

Dr. Linda Hollies pastored the Hope United Methodist Church in Lansing, Michigan. Dr. Hollies authored numerous books including: Jesus and those Bodacious Women, Sister to Sister, A Companion Journal for African American women, and Beloved You Can Win: Strategies for Walking Your Talk. Dr. Hollies went home to be with the Lord in 2007. She was a champion for women's social justice issues and a highly sought after preacher and lecturer. Her mission was to encourage women to take charge of their lives by making decisions that enhance their personal growth by expressing their individual talents.
