The highly respected psychologist and member of Little League's Operating Board offers advice and observations to parents, players, and others involved in children's baseball.
Dr. Vincent M. Fortanasce is an accomplished athlete and coach, as well as a nationally acclaimed neurologist, psychiatrist, and bioethicist. The Little League Hall of Famer is also a former Olympic athlete and a Little League coach. He has worked with Tommy Lasorda and Mike Scoscia, among others, and has appeared on several national talk shows, including "The Dr. Phil Show." In 1994 he became the 18th person inducted into the 50-year-old Little League Hall of Excellence. President Clinton presented him with the 1998 Alpha Award for Medicine with a commendation for his medical and social contributions. As with the first edition of Life Lessons from Little League, Dr. Fortanasce will donate all his royalties, along with $20,000 worth of books, to Little League, Inc.
