Michelle is completely inexperienced in the area of love and boys. Her older brother, Jeff, spent most of her high school years blocking any chance of relationships, much less a date with a boy. When Michelle meets Danny, she is terrified of the idea of going on a date, but Danny is persuasive and she finds herself in a relationship where she has no idea of what to do. Michelle also finds herself an enemy of Vicki, who was involved in the kidnapping of her roommate, Hannah.

Danny is the former high school quarterback and star of his high school team. In spite of his many dates, he finds himself drawn to Michelle who is different from any girl he’s ever gone out with before. With the constant need to strive for perfection, Danny wonders if he can actually convince Michelle to give him a chance.

This small town, college, romantic suspense is the second in the ETC Mystery series and it can be read as a stand alone. It features an inexperienced girl, a perfectionist guy, along with a female adversary who wants nothing short of revenge. This book ends with an HEA and this couple will reappear in book three of the series.
